I've been roasting Brazilian beans for over 10 years, after testing beans from a dozen other countries. Some Brazilian beans make better coffee than other Brazilian beans. No. 18 beans produce an excellent cup that my wife and I really enjoy, as do friends to whom I gift roasted beans. Roasted to a full-city roast, we enjoy the sweetness, the lack of any bitterness, and the full flavor of this dark roast.

I ordered the Java Bean Plus Brazil #18 green coffee beans. The quality of the coffee is high and the flavor profile is a winner. I roasted the first batch last night and ground it this morning. I prefer to make coffee after it has sat after roasting at least 4 or 5 days to let the coffee release the gasses and regroup. But for a same day roasted, ground, brewed cup was delicious and my daughter and sister raved over it. While I was grinding it they kept commenting on the wonderful scent. We do drink our coffee with milk. I use a Bialetti Mokka Pot on the stove. I'm very happy with the service from Java Beans Plus and the green beans are high quality.
